Sales Director — Austin, TX

We are looking for a pioneering and experienced sales director to join our team. As a sales director at OneSpot, you will work across 3 customer segments to target, develop and close sales opportunities. This position requires excellent software solution selling skills to manage all aspects of the sales cycle, resulting in meeting/exceeding individual quotas.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meet and/or exceed individual service revenue targets
  • Effectively build and execute a territory plan designed to maximize revenue and develop 5X sales pipeline to annual quota. Drive process from prospect to close
  • Create and deliver sales presentations to qualify business opportunities; deliver product demonstrations using web-based technology
  • Weekly reports of forecast opportunities: revenue potential, account status, decision makers and next steps required to close deals
  • Maintain current and accurate contact/account information in salesforce.com
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends and competition

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have experience selling Web 2.0 and/or social networking solutions under a SaaS model
  • Familiarity with social media a plus
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience with a successful track record of achievement as a sales representative, preferably in a SaaS/technology industry
  • Performs well in a dynamic organization focused on achieving rapid growth
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives in a start up environment that fosters/values initiative and self-sufficiency
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, high integrity team player
  • College degree required
